Android sign in popup leads nowhere for some websites

Pixel 10, android 16. Chrome browser. Gboard keyboard.

I get this popup on some sites. What is it? It takes me to the bitwarden app, which unlocks by face. Then it takes me back to the same popup. I have a saved password for Linkedin (and other websites where this happens).

The normal password flow for me is I just click on the password field and the password is offered inline in the keyboard.

I turned off the accessibility auto fill and bitwarden is set as Chrome and OS auto fill app.

It’s strange but I don’t even understand what ‘unlock sign in options’ means. Am I unlocking to get sign in options? Or is the list below my ‘unlock sign in options’? If so why do I have ‘no sign in info’? I can use bitwarden successfully in all other situations (desktop, mobile apps, chrome (other websites).

Edit: ok now I can’t even get the keyboard to appear when hitting the username or password fields on the Linkedin website.

Edit2: after closing and restarting Chrome I logged in ok via the usual flow.

@scae Hm… I think to see the “credential manager” come up is – generally – somewhat intended, as per this PR (and I think some other related and following ones): [PM-13789] add credential manager provider for passwords by Nailik · Pull Request #4110 · bitwarden/android · GitHub

But nonetheless, this looks like some kind of bug to me and you could consider reporting it on GitHub (“New issue”).

Hello,

To ensure seamless autofill, what is the best URI Match Type setting in to prevent the “No sign-in info” error on websites with non-standard login URLs?
