Android: Please add support for autofilling custom fields in the Bitwarden app

Hello Bitwarden team, and thank you for all your work.

On Android, the Bitwarden app’s autofill fills username/password but doesn’t fill custom fields from the same item. On desktop (browser extensions), those custom fields fill perfectly.

Adding this on mobile would bring parity and make everyday logins smoother.

Example site
https://c.timewatch.co.il/punch/punch.php → tap English, then sign in. This page requires an extra value beyond username/password.

Why this would help
Many services ask for a third value (company/employee ID, PIN, etc.). Without custom-field autofill, we have to copy/paste on mobile, which is slower and more error-prone.

Proposed enhancement
Support filling Text and Linked custom fields via the Android app when using:

  • Android Autofill service (browsers like Firefox/Chromium and in-app WebViews)
  • Accessibility overlay / inline suggestions

Expected behavior

  • When a custom field’s Name matches an input’s id, name, aria-label, or placeholder, it fills alongside username/password.
  • Linked custom fields also fill.
  • Works in major Android browsers and common WebViews, respecting URI matching and lock/security settings.

Steps to reproduce (current behavior)

  1. Create a Login with one or more Custom fields (Text or Linked).
  2. On Android, set Bitwarden as the Autofill service (Accessibility overlay optional).
  3. In Firefox for Android, open https://c.timewatch.co.il/punch/punch.php, tap English, and invoke autofill.
  4. Result: username/password fill; custom fields remain empty.
  5. On desktop with the Bitwarden extension, the same item fills custom fields as expected.

What I’ve tried

  • Firefox for Android extension (still no reliable custom-field fill in my case)
  • Manual copy/paste (works, but not ideal)

Thank you
I appreciate the product and the team’s continued improvements. Custom-field autofill on Android would make a meaningful difference for many mobile workflows. Happy to provide logs, a screen recording, or additional examples if helpful.

FYI, using the Firefox extension in Android is not officially supported by Bitwarden.
