Android Cannot Install App - Hung on "Getting Account Details"

So I have installed BitWarden on a number of different devices - laptop and mobile.

I am currently trying to install the app on an android V.10 phone.

I click “install” from the BW app page in the google play store and a white box appears at the bottom of screen that says “Getting Account details” with a circular spinner and it just spins and spins - it never installs.

Has anyone seen this before and if so, how do you mitigate it?

That sounds like an issue with Google Play Store and not with Bitwarden. Install all updates, perhaps restart and then try again.

yeah, process of elimination, but I had to rollback play store updates in order to get it to work.
