When clicking the “show” button on a password field for an entry that also has a totp, the password hides itself after each countdown of the otp timer.

Yesterday I reported that as a bug but today received an email saying that the behavior is on purpose and that I need to request a feature to be able to see my password for more than a second.
I’m having the same issue. I tap the eye icon, and BAM, it hides it one second later.
How does Bitwarden expect me to look at a 40 character password that is hidden after a second of being revealed?
