I’m experiencing an issue with the Bitwarden Android app where the top navigation icons (back button and search icon) are completely unresponsive. I cannot interact with these buttons at all.
Technical Details:
App Version: 2024.10.0 (11270)
OS: Android 10

The problem prevents me from using basic navigation functions within the app. Both the back button and search icon remain unresponsive to any taps.

But BW focus is mostly in getting the new native software to be in ship shaped, so filing a bug for the “legacy” version may not do much now.
If I were you, if the above trouble-shootings don’t work, I’d either:
a) Downgrade to v2024.6.0
b) Wait for the new native app to be available, although this is unclear how long this would be. They are up to 15% general availability.

I tried downgrading step by step all the way to Version 2024.3.3, but the issue still persists.
I will wait for a new version to be released.
You also might try uninstalling, removing any local storage and then reinstalling.
That does not seem a likely path to getting this fixed. I would reach out to Bitwarden support. The community consists of your peers, not Bitwarden employees that specialize in fixing problems.
