Android App: Disable bitwarden popup for specific apps

Hey, i really like bitwarden, one question regarding the use of the app in android:
Every time i open my 2fa app, the bitwarden app pops up and asks me if i want to save my password from my 2fa app to bitwarden. This is nice in most cases, but i don’t want to save some passwords (like the one of my 2fa app).
Is there a way to say “no and don’t ask again for this app”?

I was able to block the “save password” prompts in a specific app by adding the uri for the app to the block list in settings > auto-fill > Block auto-fill

I found the app uri by starting to save a password from the app, copying the urine, and then cancelling saving the password, but I’m sure there are other ways

Thank you for the solution and also an instruction in how to solve the problem. Very clever.

However, it is a pretty lengthy and uncomfortable solution for an average user who is just bothered by the constant pop ups. But that is the cause of the app design, for example, one could add a menu to select specific apps from a list to exclude.

Another option would be for Android to add a button “Save never” when asking whether password should be saved or not to Bitwarden. Then, Bitwarden could pick that up and add the app uri to the excluded apps. But that is on Android to implement, which might even happen.

Support for external password managers and usability on Android has come a long way, including passkeys, for which I can praise Google. It will probably get better, I suppose.
