Android: APK Distribution & Mgmt: Accrescent

With the probability in mind that many members of this community take a ‘FOSS-first’ approach to technology, I’ll not rehash concerns pertaining to F-Droid here.

Please consider targeting Accrescent for APK distribution; ideally as an outright replacement for F-Droid. It’s a promising alternative to the traditional channels of (open source) APK management with a fundamentally different approach to sourcing & signing. While it has yet to draw attention from a large number of developers, it’s actively maintained and a presumed boost in users by way of including popular apps such as this one would go a long ways.

I am not affiliated with Accrescent in any way, nor do I stand to see personal benefit from its broadened adoption.

Totally agree, bitwarden in particular would benefit from the security guarantees.

This would indeed be very cool.
I don’t like to depend on Google to install Bitwarden a secure way. Install from GitHub releases and Fdroid is not that secure.

I would like to be able to install Bitwarden from Accrescent.

Accrescent is a secure app store, with a good security chain for GrapheneOS users since it can be installed from the GrapheneOS App Store. It is endorsed by GrapheneOS.
It is not only for GrapheneOS users at all, though.
