After failed upgrade from 2023.5.1 now unable to login

HI All,

I hope you can help, it seems that support is not available until much later in the day, US Support teamI bet.

I tried to upgrade my self-hosted instance, from 2023.5.1 to the latest which did end well… all I got when I ran the update and update self was the same message, I was expecting to see the image being removed then upgraded,
then when I login today (even though I did check my access, before leaving it on Saturday), I am getting an unhandled server error, which is a pretty generic error, or so it seems.

my environment is as follows;
Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS
Docker version 24.0.6, build ed223bc
Bitwarden 2023.5.1
MS SQL 2019

how do diagnose this issue?
or is it easier to upgrade to the latest version from 2023.5.1, do i need to step through this or go straight to the latest version?

when I go through the updateself i get this output

bitwarden.sh version 2023.5.1
Docker version 24.0.6, build ed223bc
docker-compose version 1.29.2, build 5becea4c

Updated self.

then I go to the update part, I get this output

bitwarden.sh version 2023.5.1
Docker version 24.0.6, build ed223bc
docker-compose version 1.29.2, build 5becea4c

what should I do next?
any help please is appreciated.
