My family uses Roboform, and they actually like Bitwarden, but my Mom is an accountant and needs to be able to autofill bank account information. She does the financials for my business and my Dad’s business, and we have agreed we need to all start using one password manager for account sharing and whatnot. I really want to stay on Bitwarden because of the SimpleLogin integration, I can self host it, and I’m used to it, however because they won’t be able to autofill bank account information it wouldn’t be a smart choice for them. I’m hoping this gets implemented soon so I don’t have to use 1Password!

@candroid-man, I too would like to see progress on an easier process to autofill additional things.

In the meantime though, with some guidance, your mom might be able to use Custom Fields. Not the most intuitive for the everyday user, but might be helpful.

As additional feature , a wifi password type should be made. and to share the password with another device, it should be possible to generate a qrcode to share the wifi information

It’s a real shame that this has been completely removed from the roadmap. A little more transparency would be really helpful and would put people’s minds at rest here… @gtran :no_mouth:

Hi all - we updated the format of the roadmap to only show items in development rather than the previous format that would have a column for items in development and items under research because it would give a false sense of timing. Quarters would roll by and items under research wouldn’t get started. We also included a timestamp to ensure we would update the roadmap at a minimum of a monthly cadence.

Additional item types ended up being more of a challenge where maintaining backwards compatibility across devices and different client versions made this a larger effort. This is a similar challenge with vault item labels. The Bitwarden team has also been embarking on a significant UI refresh across all clients, which wasn’t fully represented on the previous roadmap as it was only shown as the web app.

So what you are saying is that an accurate sense of timing is that this feature will NEVER appear for the foreseeable future, having been recognized over 5 years ago, hundreds of votes, and even a vague claim that database work had been completed to support this feature in mid-2023.

I really wanted to support Bitwarden. I have been using it for the last 2 months, and unfortunately lacking this feature is what made me move to 1password.
6 years to implement a basic feature like this it’s unacceptable.
