i want to set up another bitwarden account for my wife.
the plan is to have some shared passwords and some not shared.
we only have 1 pc atm though, which is what i’m using for my bitwarden account.
she’ll be using her phone for everything atm, until and if she ever buys a new pc.
i just want to make sure that there won’t be any kind of problems, setting up another acount on the same pc.
No, there should be no issues. The desktop app and browser extension support switching between accounts, and you can set up a free two person organization to share login credentials between the two accounts.
Besides setting up an org to set up a collection of items that can be shared like @Micah_Edelblut mentioned, I personally would set up two different Window logins just to have separate spaces. It can also be said that using a less complicated setup will have fewer regressed bugs.
ok cool
thanx
ok thanx
it’s my pc, so I’m the only one using it.
I just wanna use it to set up her account.
you can’t do that from the phone, right?
Yeah, it’s better to create an account on the PC, import her existing accounts, fix things until they are right and ready to be used on the phone. Less pain: bigger screen, bigger keyboard, etc.
The web app, you can log in and log out, using as many accounts as you please (probably within non-suspicious limits). It’s the concurrent usage of multiple accounts (like work and personal) on the browser extension (which you most likely won’t be using) that will cause more grief.
