Lastpass already does this. Its a shame bitwarden does not take advantage of biometrics a s a way to solve this issue.
That would be a cool feature. It appears to be only available to a few password manager like dashlane and LastPass currently.
In a way, you can already do this in Bitwarden.
On your mobile device set it to unlock with biometrics and then store your master password in your Bitwarden vault. This is essentially what LastPass is doing.
You also have the option to use Emergency Access. You can set someone you trust or use another Bitwarden account you own and set them as the emergency contact. If you forget your master password they can activate it and after the set time they can reset your master password.
password recovery using fingerprint phrase.

Are there any references to this feature or function on other platforms that may be helpful?
---- Not sure, if this feature is available on other password managers. But, this would add ease of access along with security. Test release can also be helpful.
