Add feature to show 2FA availability for a given website

With 1Password, there’s a feature that advises you if there’s a 2FA option for a given website. For example, the screenshot shows Reddit has a 2FA option and in fact, Reddit just advised people to use 2FA after an internal hack. I’d recommend adding a similar feature to Bitwarden.

Bitwarden has an Inactive 2FA report for premium subscribers.

I’d like to easily know what sites/apps I can secure with 2FA/TOTP.

I’d like to easily filter my password list to show all sites that have 2FA/TOTP available and an indicator if I have implemented it or not, so then I can go update all of my relevant logins to incorporate 2FA/TOTP.

There’s various lists online of sites that use 2FA/TOTP but bitwarden clearly knows this from it’s records.

There is already an Inactive 2FA Report which does pretty much exactly what you’re asking for.

@wwcanoer I merged your request with this existing feature request to the same topic…

… and here is another feature request that might (partially) fit in also: TOTP quick access from main view on browser extension and desktop app (like it is in the mobile apps)

I’m inclined to close this Feature Request, unless someone can explain how what they are proposing differs from the existing functionality. Putting a 1-month timer on it.

IMO, the other FR you linked is something completely different.

Had the same general thought…

Yes, different, but: The linked FR would at least make this possible (and that’s why I wrote “partially”):

[Edit: It seems, I misinterpreted what “available” was supposed to mean in this sentence.]

(like in the mobile app, this category can list all sites that have TOTP activated/available - and this is a restriction of the “inactive 2FA report” as well, that it is only based on an authenticator key being there or not)

Thanks. It’s a premium feature, so I didn’t see it. A few minutes ago I did decide to go premium to see if the reports give good info and that one is what I was looking for.

Could improve by showing which 2FAs were available for each site and made that filterable. (ex. Because today, I’m setting up TOTP, so I just want to see those.)

1Password displays whether 2FA or a passkey is available directly in a saved login. You don’t need to open a report first.

+1 I like the suggestion.

I hope I’m not wrong again here  - but I think a function like this would indeed be covered by this feature request (however those automatic lookups and alerts for all different vault health reports would be implemented then… – but maybe I’m interpreting “dashboard” and “alerts” now too broad, thinking it would not only be a dashboard, but also indicators within or “at” the items themselves…):
