I noticed the new icons (person for username, key for password). It would be awesome if you could drag those icons (with the respective credentials) into login boxes. It would be less clicks and I find I am using dragging credentials or copy paste more and more often as bitwarden is unable to fill the boxes on an increasing number of websites.
@zone3490 It took me a minute to decipher what you are trying to say. Here is my best guess:
You have “Show quick copy actions on Vault” checked in Settings → Appearance → Vault customization, and are referring to the new design of these icons:
And now, your suggestion is to give those icons “drag & drop” capability for username, password and TOTP code, right?
Yes, you have stated that correctly. One smooth drag and drop from those icons, versus two clicks (one click to copy and another to paste). Either way, you have to touch the chrome extension and then the webpage, this would reduce clicks. Also, I dont know if it is true, but I have heard the drag and drop method is more secure than copy/paste.
The reasoning beind this theory is that other apps on your PC have access to the clipboard, and if using a universal clipboard (more common on Macs) it is available to all your apps on all your logged in devices. Not a problem if you trust all your apps; big problem if one of them covertly performs reconnesance.
