Unfortunately, your post is difficult to understand. What is the “Delete field function”? Are you referring to the red ⊝ icon to the left of custom fields, shown below?
So I understand that you want to place a second icon next to each of the red ⊝ icons, but it is unclear what the purpose of this second icon would be.
It would be helpful if you could explain your proposal in more detail.
