Is it related to a problem?
Bitwarden has added the option to archive your vault items, which is at the bottom of the context menu when clicking the three dots from in a folder etc. On iOS the copy password is right above it, meanwhile on android the copy password is at the top. On my iPad I’ve twice now accidently clicked on archive instead of copy password. But wherever it is in the menu, the possibility of accidentally clicking on archive is high.
Proposed feature:
Like how the delete option, from the three dots menu on the vault item itself, asks you to confirm if you’re sure you want to delete, the archive option should have the same confirmation prompt.
It should worded slightly different though say additionally about it will be found in the archive folder, so there’s no accidentally mixing this for the delete confirmation.
Additional context:
This I consider a big accessibility fix for this just added option. Sure it’s not destructive but it’s extremely annoying and it absolutely should have a confirmation on.
Maybe there should also be a prompt right after to undo the archiving so if someone even accidentally says yes to the confirmation to archive, they can quickly unarchive it when they see what they just did, without leaving the folder they’re in to go to the archive to do so. But this still should not be a thing to do instead of a confirmation prompt, it should be in addition.
