Account Switcher in Passkey Selector (Browser Extension)

Hi Bitwarden community,

I’m using Bitwarden across two accounts — personal and company — and the account switching feature is genuinely one of my most-used features in the Firefox extension. It works great in most contexts, but there’s one gap that keeps disrupting my workflow.

The problem:
When a website (e.g. Google or GitHub) triggers a passkey login, the extension automatically opens the passkey selector — but it only shows passkeys from the last active account from the extension. To get to passkeys in the other account, I have to:

  1. Close the passkey selector
  2. Open the extension from the toolbar
  3. Switch accounts manually
  4. Re-trigger the passkey login on the website

This is a multi-step interruption for what should be a seamless flow.

The request:
Add account switching directly within the passkey selector popup, so users can switch between their Bitwarden accounts without dismissing the prompt and starting over.

This already works in the iOS app — the passkey sheet there lets you switch accounts inline — so the UX pattern exists. It would be great to bring parity to the browser extension.

Would love to hear if others are running into this too, and whether this is already on the roadmap!

Thanks for the great product :folded_hands:
