Bitwarden Icon says locked

I also have a browser window open on the other monitor. If I unlock Bitwarden in the other window, the Bitwarden icon still shows the lock on the other window. If I click in the other window, it shows unlocked.
Is that what you intended?
It wasn’t like that with 1Password, for example. I used Vivaldi browser.

I use Firefox, but only on one monitor. If I unlock Bitwarden in one instance of the browser, the other instances are unlocked everywhere.

People here, including myself, are Bitwarden users, not the company’s employees. Although I am not sure what is intended, this sounds like a bug to me.

I also think this is a bug. I just wanted to know if it’s happening to others or just me.

I am unable to reproduce this using Chrome browsers on two separate windows, Windows 11, browser extension version 2025.4.0.

Maybe this is a thing with Vivaldi and Bitwarden in combination.

Maybe so. Or could be an OS issue. Do you have any other browsers installed other than Vivaldi?

It works fine in Firefox.
So maybe its an Vivaldi / Chromium Bug.

That sounds good! – Your OP here was about another monitor… I use only one monitor, and so far (with 2025.7.0), I think my BW icon (on Vivaldi) behaves worse than before, to be honest. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: (shows a number, when it’s locked etc.)

It looks like there’s a new problem now.
Although there are saved logins, I no longer see an indicator on the Bitwarden icon. Saved logins are shown as suggestions in the extension but no number on the icon.

For the extension where this is occurring please check the setting for Settings > Appearance > Show number of login autofill suggestions on extension icon.

It is active. It works even after logging in. But at some point it simply stops displaying.

Do you lock/unlock with a PIN?

When you experience the issue with the number of matches not being displayed, try opening the browser extension and clicking the “Launch” button for an arbitrary login item in your vault (to open the corresponding website). If you then return to the original website (where the number of matches was not shown on the icon), is the problem still there?

Yes, the behavior is still there.

When I log in to BW, the number is displayed on the open pages. If I reload the page, it is no longer displayed. It is also not displayed on all pages that I open new.
