Yubico has announced support for IOS and provides an open source SDK for implementing it. This is a feature I would love to see in the bitwarden app for IOS.
“For application developers, we are introducing a new Mobile SDK for iOS that offers open source software for any iOS mobile app to rapidly add support for hardware-based two-factor authentication (2FA) using YubiKey OTP over NFC”
I have already added support for iOS NFC on YubiKeys (no need for the new Yubico SDK) but I don’t have a device to test with (simulator doesn’t support NFC) so it still needs some work before we can go live with it.
This is rolling out later today with the next iOS update (1.17.0). If anyone can reply back here and confirm that it is working as expected that would be great.
