Yeah I know. It’s just an exaggeration to express how bad the UI is. As a former user, I see that many users complain about bad UI, but they mostly complain about UI that is not aesthetically pleasing. But these videos show that Bitwarden’s UI is fundamentally bad.
Why? Because it breaks down mental models: beliefs that users have about how a system (web or application) works. As you mentioned, the items are not created in the trash and then the UI should reflect that by not allowing to create new items from the trash menu.
I hope you can take this into consideration when redesigning the UI for the desktop.
Perhaps it would be helpful to think of the middle panel as “search results” instead of as a “menu”.
