Has this been fully released? I just got an Apple Watch again after my Series 2 died and now that I’ve migrated from 1Password to BW this would be awesome.
Any news about this issue ? Seems that the PR has been merged …

That merged PR – and the first post in this other feature request – seem to indicate it is already possible to unlock the desktop app with an Apple Watch.
Can someone confirm this?
PS: And would that be only the MacOS desktop app - or also the Windows and Linux desktop app? (even those users can have an Apple Watch, I guess)
Some further testing and a correction: I locked my vault, then the Unlock with Touch ID button was enabled again (with no change in clamshell mode). I clicked the button, then it prompted with the Apple Watch approval as seen in the screenshot.
I was going to create a new bug report, then I saw this forum post.
There is inconsistent product behavior and labeling for biometrics support on MacOS for both the desktop app and the chrome extension. The problem centers around the use of an Apple Watch as biometric auth while laptop is in clamshell mode.
Scenario 1: Desktop app. Current behavior: locked vault screen says “Unlock with Touch ID” This option is grayed out, presumably because the laptop is in clamshell mode. Expected behavior: Button should say “Unlock with Biometrics” and be enabled via Apple Watch prompt.
Scenario 2: Chrome Extension: Current behavior: Button says “Unlock with Biometrics”. I have been able to use my watch to unlock the extension before but testing for this message shows the option grayed out while desktop app is open and unlocked. Expected behavior: Option is enabled and I can authenticate via connected Apple Watch
