Hi!

I am trying to install Bitwarden Self Hosted on a RHEL 10.1 Linux machine. I am following the step on the Linux Standard Deployment page. After entering the information during the install script, I get the : Unable to validate installation id. Problem contacting Bitwarden US server. message.

My machine is on my organization firewall that runs Zscaler. I contacted the Zscaler support and they showed me that the request went out correctly.

What else can be wrong on my machine side?

Any idea how I can have this fixed?

For ZScaler to see the complete URL, it must perform SSL interception/decryption/man-in-the-middle. Some apps do not like that, particularly ones that are especially security conscious. Try turning off interception and see if things improve.
