Toggle to hide SSO login button

Feature name

  • Ability to toggle SSO login button on Bitwarden Login screens

Feature function

  • Allows users who don’t use SSO login or require it to hide the button, so users don’t click on it.

Looking at the code of the login page of the web repo, I can’t see anything that allows us to toggle showing/hiding this new button.

No way an urgent feature but a nice one

Yep, running into the same UX problems on our self hosted instance.

Did this feature request go anywhere?

We’ve just started rolling out our self-hosted enterprise BW install and in the first 50 users this has already generated 20 tickets to our helpdesk.

We’re not using SSO for a few reasons and it’s going to get old explaining this to users!

Are there any updates on this?
I’m new with an self-hosted instance and also do not use SSO.

Sidenote: Since the SSO login and button are not so new anymore, I removed that word from the title.

Anyone figure out how to hide the SSO button on the login page? No suprise, ChatGPT says it’s possible and easy, tried it’s multiple suggestions but of course it’s wrong  Anyone know of a way to hide the button?

Don’t log out that often - use mostly unlocking instead. (I very seldom even see the SSO login button…)

I log in from remote computers that aren’t logged in so I see it every time, however on my personal devices I of course never see it. I told ChatGPT it was wrong and it gave me a long detailed answer about how it let me down, then it referenced this forum and how people are asking for this feature.
