Although an interesting idea, I am much more interested in replacing passwords with something better (e.g. passkeys) than once again adding complexity to trying and fix their latest shortcoming.
For sure, passwords will be around “forever”, but I hope to relegate them recovering an account when I somehow lose the passkey. When reserved for “break glass” scenarios, long, randomly generated, and unique per site is good enough for me.
