Sync settings - Autofill, security (New User)

I am giving Bitwarden a go, I am a new User, I am hope I am very wrong on this one.

So please correct me If I understanding this correctly:

Use-case: I use at least 4 different Browsers in parallel, setup BitWarden as extension, logged in a zillion times, MFA and all the stuff. All good.

  • password generation is by default 14 chars with some default rules, this is not synced with vault.
  • Autofill settings - not synced with vault
  • Security - not synced with vault
    • vault timeout etc…

So, every time I change here something, DO I NEED TO change it everywhere?
If I reinstall the extension, then I have to redo this?

I get it that some things are security relevant and should not be synced, but for a “password generation” rule, autofill and stuff like this should be synced with the vault.

Or is there another way to achieve this?

@Vega_Xor Welcome to the forum!

Very few of the app preferences are synced, unfortunately. For the most part, this is not a big deal once you’ve got your apps set up and configured.
