Sync failing on the Ubuntu desktop client

Environment:
Ubuntu 22.04.3
Bitwarden version 2023.12.0

I am receiving the red banner message [Syncing Failed] on the Ubuntu SNAP installed bitwarden client. Sync works fine on Android and Mac laptops. The web interface shows the correct versions in various vaults. I’ve restarted the Ubuntu system, made sure the application was updated from the Snap repository, and the sync continues to fail.

Any suggestions?

I have had this exact same issue. 2023.12.0, but Ubuntu 20. In the end I removed Bitwarden, and then reinstalled. This resolved the issue.

sudo snap remove bitwarden
sudo snap install bitwarden

I have the same problem (Ubuntu 22.04). Did the same thing (remove + reinstall). No success here.

I had the same problem for several days
A workaround is to log out (File → Log out) and log back in again.
That doesn’t take more time that unlocking your vault with your master password anyway.
