Hello, i’m new to the community forums, but a very long time user of Bitwarden.Something I’ve often wished for is the ability to sort the vault view according to latest added/most recent/date descending etc. I see in the past this has been put forward as a feature request, though this was some time ago. Is there a barrier to adding this sort function?

I don’t know if there is a technical barrier for doing the sorting or not (even if it’s hard to imagine). As far as I know, Bitwarden hasn’t publicly released information on whether they are actively working on the feature.
Some feature requests can take years (and sometimes never), but they do pay attention to the voting and feedback, so I would at least vote for the features that are most important to you.
Yes, years seems to be the name of the game. The original feature request appears to have been submitted back 2018 and followed closely for a while. Then around 2022/2023 it was announced the request was combined with another for a slightly different function, so presumably the coding to sort entries might be closely related with that. In any event a decade looms close, so I’m not holding my breath for it!
