Current situation/issue:
With the redesigned browser extension I’ve found that confirmation message overlays display for a period (~5 seconds) that is longer than necessary for me and temporarily obscure or disrupt my ability to use other UI elements. See the example screenshots.
Additionally, hovering over the overlays resets the countdown timer for their display, which seems unnecessary.
Unticking the animations option in the extension settings doesn’t disable these overlays.
Being able to manually dismiss the messages with the X button shouldn’t be necessary for routine confirmation messages.
Ideal scenario:
I would like to see a brief confirmation of my action and be able to use the UI without being impeded.
Suggestion:
Allow users to adjust the confirmation message display duration.
Or implement a confirmation UI element that doesn’t obscure/interfere with other UI elements.
