Isn’t 64 MiB ok with iOS though? Or does it perhaps depend on the iOS version?
I guess @Quexten already tackled that question:
When I go to fill in a login and it gets me to use Touch ID, is this iOS autofill or?
If you’re unlocking with biometrics (Touch ID), then the iOS memory limit does not apply.
Oh ok so what would cause the iOS memory limit to apply? And why does iOS have this memory limit when I’m assuming android does not?
Because in iOS, autofilling requires an app extension, and Apple imposes strict memory limits for app extensions.
I’m not an iOS user – but in general: you can also autofill when the (iOS) app is already unlocked.
