Saving SSO Sites Instead of The Actual Site

Hello…

I went to save a couple new sites this morning and Bitwarden saved the SSO versions of the sites and I had a difficult time trying to just save the actual site.

One was a patient portal for a Doctor - I launched the link I got from their office to create a new account, but when it was saved, it was saved as SSO.DoctorSite.com

I’m seeing this more and more with new accounts I’m creating, the sites are saved with SSO as the prefix.

Is there something I need to turn off within the settings?

This has become more than a nuisance, because I have to go through a manual process of saving a site a number of times to get it correctly saved. Bitwarden just continues to save these as SSO sites…

Thank you, in advance…

Hey @Theo1352 you can manually modify/add URI’s at any time, but let me know if you’re looking for something different: Using URIs | Bitwarden Help & Support

Thank you for your reply…

I understand , and yes, that’s what I ended up doing, but it defeats the purpose of having a utility like Bitwarden automatically add a login.

I want to know why it saved it that way - the URL did not indicate “SSO.site.com”, but Bitwarden saved the new logins that way and I had to go back multiple times to manually change it.

I didn’t notice it had saved it as an SSO until I went to log in again and got a 404 error message, the “page didn’t exist”.

Bitwarden continued to try and save them as a SSO, even after I went through deleting the accounts and starting over manually. It took a long time to get it saved correctly.

This just started after the new Bitwarden update (I use Firefox, I am on the current version).

Is there something I need to do in settings to turn this off, or is this a bug??

I haven’t seen any other reports of this, but I’ll check in with the team :+1:
