Saving changes on vault items works, but error message “Resource not found“

We are using already Edge 2025.12.0 extension
Whenever i go to update an password item via extension i get “Resource not found“, even though when i check later the password is updated

Using the web it works fine.
we have self hoste instance

We have not updated to latest version because we are using a MSSQL Database and our 2019 SQL is not supported anymore by Bitwarden later than May version.This has been confirmed by Bitwarden on a different support case.On January we are planning to move to SQL 2025, therefore updating the server as well

Okay, that’s up to you. – But I would have recommended now to contact BW support and/or open a GitHub issue about your issue here – but since your version is out of support, it’s a bit unclear what will happen (IMHO).

(as that also can mean, incompatibility issues with newer client versions are possible)

BTW, the web vault vault doesn’t have those “update existing login” notifications, so you’re just talking about editing an item and saving changes, right?

“Update existing login“ we dont have it.This is only about editing and item and saving changes.
When we press save we get that “resource not found“, although the change is reflected.
So it looks like a false positive one.
I will reach out to the BW support for it

Thanks for clarification. – And I only mentioned it, because you originally posted in this other thread Frequent notices to 'Update existing login' / 'Save (new) login' with latest browser extensions which is only about those notifications, so indeed, you have a totally different issue.
