Request for adding a confirmation promt before logging out of a Bitwarden account to avoid accidental data loss

I’ve been using Bitwarden on Android (Galaxy A03s) for almost a year now and have stored many login credentials into two of my accounts. One is the account 1 and the other is the account 2. I often switch between these two. Yesterday, while I was trying to switch from the account 2 to the account 1, I accidentally clicked twice on the spot where the three dots were. And clicking that spot twice instantly opened the ‘Log out’ option and logged me out. Gone. I didn’t bother writing the account 2’s password in the account 1 because I enabled biometric verification for it. I only have the password to the account 1 written in a notebook. I know I could have done a better backup but this is completely unacceptable.

Bitwarden is one of the most reliable password managers, and I deeply trust its security. However, a single misclick shouldn’t lead to irreversible data loss. A confirmation promt could save other users from losing important data.

A confirmation promt like “Are you sure you want to log out?” or even better, as account log out is a sensitive action, add a countdown of like 5 seconds before letting the user proceed.

Developers, please consider this issue, it could prevent similar accidents for others in the future. Thanks for your hard work on an otherwise exceptional product!

(I’ve posted this on the Bitwarden subreddit too.)
