Registering a YubiKey 5 NFC in the Forums Fails

I just created my community forums account today, and when I attempted to add my YubiKey 5 NFC keys to my profile, I was given the error message, “The attestation format is not supported by the server.” I have no idea what this means, and searching for that error messages doesn’t seem to come up with any answers.

Does anyone else have issues using a YubiKey 5 NFC as a security key here in the community forums? If it makes a difference, I’m on Windows 10 using Firefox 90.0.2 (64-bit)–the latest version as of this posting.

I had the same experience using YubiKey 5 NFC, Firefox 90.0.2 (64-bit) and the latest Windows 10 Pro. However, I was able to register both my YubiKeys using Brave and then I could subsequently login using Firefox.

Awesome! Thanks for that tip. I was able to register my keys through Edge and use them in Firefox. I appreciate the workaround.
