Problems with auto-fill

Hi All,

I’ve been using Bitwarden for some time now and i really like it!.
There is still one thing i’m kinda struggling with and can’t figure it out.

I have some URL’s that just pop-up with 9 hits in bitwarden, but that’s not correct.

Example:

https://test.bitwarden.com/a-lot-of-characters-etc-etc-etc

If i go to the above URL it just hits me with:

https://test.bitwarden.com -> GOOD
https://something.bitwarden.com -> NOT GOOD
https://another.bitwarden.com -> NOT GOOD

They all start and end different but have the same domain in the middle.

@MDLefevere Welcome to the forum!

Open the vault item for editing, then click the gear icon (:gear:) next to the URL, and select the option Host in the dropdown list of URI match detection options.

If you want this level of specificity for all of your Bitwarden login items, go to Settings > Auto-fill, and set the Default URI Match Detection option to Host (in which case you can leave the match detection setting for the stored URL as Default).

Have you checked out the different URI match detection options within Bitwarden?

Being that your saved logins share the same base domain, Bitwarden assumes they will be the same across all sites controls under that domain.
You can either change the global default, or change this match detection for individual login items as well.
Typically the Host or Starts with work well, hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face:
