What I am proposing is just to change the fingerprint format, as it is on telegram calls. Instead of uncomfortable and long sentences to read, use a sequence of emojis.
On user side this will reduce the comparison time.

Interesting idea, but there are visual differences between the same emoji shown on different platforms. It could get tricky with emojis that are similar but not an exact match, like
