I would like to be able to log in to the browser extension (chrome/brave) using my Yubikey and make master password a second option. I.e. i touch my Yubikey to log in to the browser extension.
I’m already using it on the web vault.

As a long time BW user I would really NOT like this as a built in option unless I can disable it using the Master Password. I can see the convenience of using my Yubikey to unlock after a timeout once I’ve used it for 2FA security on initial login, but I would have to be able to disable it for first login to feel secure.
Yes we keep our yubikeys safe, but to allow ONLY a yubikey to log you as a default would provide a route in, the hazard of that would outweigh the convenience in spades.
