Simple request. When using the mobile app currently (in my case iOS), I unlock the app, then I have to click on the search magnifying glass to start searching for the password card I need to access.
Can a settings field be created so that, if toggled to Yes, the mobile app unlocks and immediately opens to the search field? I would assume over 90% of users of mobile are searching for a previously created password, and this would streamline the process by immediately going to search (they can obviously cancel out of the search if they want to do some other function).
Hi!
It sounds like a great idea to streamline the process. Implementing a setting that allows the app to unlock directly into the search field would indeed save time for users who frequently search for passwords. To suggest this feature, you can usually provide feedback directly through the app. Open the app, go to the settings or feedback option, and submit your suggestion. Explain how it would Taco Bell improve user experience by saving time and making the app more efficient. If the app developers have a website or a support email, you can also send your suggestion there. Many developers appreciate user feedback and might consider adding useful features in future updates. Good luck, and I hope your suggestion gets implemented!
Thanks for the reply. I did what you mentioned and it actually sent me here, so I think I got lucky and posted it in the right place. I’m hoping they take a look at it and decide it’s a good idea and is easy to implement. Before I used Bitwarden I was using another product and their mobile app opened straight to a search field with the cursor already active in the search field and it was so quick to hit 3-4 letters to start the search and quickly find the entry you were searching for, which doesn’t seem like a big time saver, but it definitely was noticeably more useful because of this functionality.
