I’m using a Windows laptop. I have purchased an account for myself and another for my wife. I’m a relatively new user to Bitwarden although I have added many passwords to both mine and her account.
I wanted to share my passwords with her and somehow her name has ended up on the “All Vaults” page, e.g: All Vaults; My Vault; My wife’s name; + New Organisation
I can’t remember what I did to get her name there. When I click on her name, it changes to her vault but there are no entries.
@geoffstc It sounds like you may have put her name as the name of the organization? You can double check on the setting screen in the admin console in the web app.
I’ve worked out that I set up an organisation with my wife’s name (it was empty). I have deleted that organisation and decided that I may just set my wife up as an Emergency Contact and sdhe casn set me up as an Emergency Contact for her account.
Does that make sense - any problems I should be aware of with this setup?
Also set up an emergency sheet for each of you. That way you don’t have to wait a week for emergency access to kick in when someone just needs a reminder for their master password.
It is up to you to decide if you hide your emergency sheet with that belonging to your deleted wife or if you hide them from each other :-).
