Migrate password from Vaultwarden to Bitwarden

Hi everyone,

since we have experienced more and more trouble using the Bitwarden IOS App with the Vaultwarden backend, I have set up an instance of Bitwarden on my homeserver using docker on a proxmox environment.
The installation process was straight forward and went fine. So I used the Bitwarden Chrome Plugin to export my passwords etc. to JSON from the current Vaultwarden server. But when I try importing the JSON file to my Bitwarden account using the webinterface, I alway receive the error “An unhandled Server error has occurred”. I also tried exporting csv and encrypted json file, but the error remains.
I also red some reddit posts on similar problems but I could not fix the problem.

@deranda Welcome to the forum!

In another thread, the OP was able to resolve the problem by restarting their server. If that doesn’t work, then I would suggest contacting support.
