I have been using Bitwarden for a while, and I love the option for mail forward generation. The web (chromium) extension variant does not save specific credentials. I for example have both Addy and duckduckgo (where the API key process is bad but not sure if that is Bitwarden its fault).
I have setup duckduckgo, and it seems to keep the API for that service well.
Now what if I want to use Addy for one time or specific login, if I select Addy or any other service.
I keep the API of duckduckgo. Changing the key on another service then changes it for all other services. So for example for duckduckgo, this would mean doing the API process every time that happens.
- Is it possible to just keep the saved API keys per service and not as a general API for the extension? I am quite sure this is a bug as starting on an empty service does keep it empty, while then going to a filled in one (DDG for example) shows the specific API, but then never goes empty even after setting service to any other one.
- Further is it possible to sync these API keys over your account. Now I would need to manually copy them to all Bitwarden clients (for me already at least 4)?
- Could there be a better management tab (for example in settings) for email forwarders instead of directly in a login create user/mail tab?
So best case, you would enter any service its API key once on any client, then it saves it per service, and syncs to all clients (just like all the other logins basically)
