Lost access to organization

So for about 1 year now, I have been a premium individual user with 1 free organization with 2 collections and 1 other member besides me. Just recently on Dec 7th, I started a free trial of the family plan. Thought I was going to add more members but decided against that. So before trial period ended, I cancelled the family plan a few days ago. At this point, no issues with org or collections. I still have premium, never cancelled that.

On Dec 14th, which is when the free trial of the family plan would have ended and been charged if I didn’t already cancel. Now I am unable to access the organization or collections. There is an icon beside the organization name saying access suspended. In the web vault, I can still see both collections but they are both empty.

I do have backups including organization collections. Wondered if I could just create a new free organization and import the data from my backups? I have contacted support about this so will not do anything until I hear back from them. Just wanted to see what my options are in case support isn’t able to help out. But access to this organization should be restored I would think.

You should be able to restore your backups into a new organization (this will work better if the data were exported in JSON format), although there is currently a bug in the import process that will require your to make some edits to the exported JSON data:

Exporting from org vault and importing to personal vault - "Cannot read properties of null"

### Steps To Reproduce 1. Click on 'File' 2. Click on 'Export vault.' 3. Go to …'Export from' and choose an organisation vault. 4. In the 'File format' field, click on the menu and choose '.json'. 5. Cllick on Export Vault. 6. Follow the prompts to save the file. 7. Go back to the main Bitwarden window. 8. Click on 'File'. 9. Click on 'Import data' 10. For the Vault field, click on it and choose your personal vault. 11. For the folder, select a folder (optional). 12. For the File format field, click and choose Bitwarden (json). 13. Click the button 'Choose file'. 14. In the pop up window, click on the file you created before. 15. Click on Import data. 16. A doalog window should appear with the error message 'Cannot read properties of null (reading has)'. ### Expected Result I was hoping that the procedure would succeed. However, I asked the community and a moderator (grb) that if this operation should fail (and they weren't sure whether it should succeed or fail) then it should fail with a more meaningful error message. ### Actual Result A dialog window popped up with the message "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'has')" Also, the import failed. ### Screenshots or Videos _No response_ ### Additional Context My aim was to transfer the logins in my organisation vault (which only had a handful of logins and was only used by me but with two accounts) to the personal vault they originally came from before I moved them to the organisation vault. I’d also guess that Bitwarden support would be able to revert your now family-expired organization back to a free organization.

I’m not sure if they don’t do this, whether the expired organization would count as a free one or not, because currently, you can’t create another free organization if you are already an admin of a free one. But even if this happens, you probably can open another support ticket for it.

Got a reply back from support, quicker than I thought. My organization has been re-enabled and the case has been forwarded to their accounts receivable team for further review. So good for now. It should stay like this as this organization was created as a free one. Logged back into web vault and everything is like it was. So unless they do something when they review it, everything is good
