For the past week or so I have been struggling with a complete loss of about 75-80% of my logins and passwords. The changes that have been mentioned earlier in this forum appear to be the reason for this. When I contacted Bitwarden support, I got the usual ‘Login Missing - Found in Unassigned’ explanation. But I can clearly see that I am missing a whole host of my logins. Help!
I am at my wits end. I had moved from Lastpass to Bitwarden because Lastpass had been bought by a Pvt Equity firm - and expected to see them bleeding it to death. Little did I know that Botwarden would implement such drastic changes WITHOUT any hopes of a recovery!
This should be a warning to EVERYONE. Make periodic exports of your Bitwarden Valut(s) - otherwise you will face an indefinite time of irrecoverable accounts etc.
