I don’t know how I did it, but my Master Password is not being recognized either on the Web nor on my android device. I see absolutely no way to reset/recover my password. HELP!
@barbgraj Welcome to the forum!
At the bottom of the first login page (email entry screen), you should see a setting labeled “Accessing:”, with an option to choose your server (bitwarden.com, bitwarden.eu, or self-hosted). See screenshot below (from the Web Vault), where the server selection option is shown just above the line “© 2026 Bitwarden Inc.” at the bottom of the page.
Make sure that you have made the correct selection before proceeding to the master password entry screen.
There is a webpage that has a whole bunch of things one can try.
Do note, however, that nobody can tell you your master password, and nobody can change it on your behalf. As painful as this fact is right now, it truly is for the best because it means a bad actor could not do the same by pretending to be you.
…unless you are a member of an organization with an Enterprise Plan and that has enabled the Account Recovery feature for their members. If this applies, get in touch with your organization’s administrator for help.

Apart from choosing the correct server region, also make sure that you use the correct email address (not the “wrong” alias or whatever, check it for typos, did you change your BW email address recently and forgot about that? etc.)
And did your issue happen out of nowhere – or did you change your master password? If that would have been the case: did you try your old master password? (just in case the change may not have been executed…) (PS: I still wonder why you chose “locked myself out” as the title… that sounds like you did something before, and it didn’t happen out of the blue…)
You chose the tag server:selfhost – could you clarify if you indeed self-host your Bitwarden server (and in that case: please post a screenshot of your Admin Dashboard)? If you have an administrator, maybe you should contact them (for the reason @grb explained). If it’s your own server, maybe you have a backup of your server data that could still work with your master password.
Depending on your setup: if you happen to have a login-passkey that might log you in now. If you had an emergency access contact, now would be the time…
