from with in the username/text entry field.

When typing a username into the username field with the inline autofill window open, it should filter the options based on the entered text like 1Password and other password managers

Would love to be able to turn on search for inline auto-fill drop-down.

Would love to see search in side Bitwarden inline autofill, just like in Dashlane.

If you click on the extension icon, there is a search there.

I would suggest, though, that autofill misbehaving is not something to be taken lightly. The reason being that auto-fill does not match if it is a look-alike website (e.g. n3tflix.com) trying to steal your credentials. This is one of those cases where I want the work-flow to be disrupted enough that it sparks my curiosity/suspicion.

Don’t know about such cases, but then at least add autofill quick-link after searching the vault. At the moment when I user extensions search field it switches to Vault and then there’s no quick link for autofill - i must open the item and only then I can autofill.

Guys, what do you think about adding inline autofill search/filter? Similar to 1password, where user is just able to start typing email address and that filters available options in inline autofill? In this case I would get all emails that match query “elite”

It would be super handy to have Bitwarden suggest usernames as we type, just like browsers do. This would save a lot of time and reduce the chances of typos.

Thanks for considering this! Keep up the awesome work.

@jaborgs Welcome to the forum!

I moved your comment into this Feature Request thread, because it did not seem relevant to the topic where you had originally posted.

A post was split to a new topic: Problems autofilling on financial aggregator site

I’ve requested this feature for 2-3 years already. This feature exists in other password managers like 1password ir apple passwords.
