I have a suggestion to address an issue that many users, including myself, have encountered. The proposal is to move the generator settings from the tools section to the settings section, creating a new subsection: Settings > Generator. This new section should include a “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the form.
The key improvement would be that when users modify settings such as password length and other parameters in this section, these changes would be saved to their account. This means that regardless of which app, extension, or browser is used to log in, these settings would remain consistent, eliminating the need for users to reconfigure them repeatedly.
The same functionality should be applied to the Settings > Preferences section, allowing users to set a timeout duration. Once saved, this setting would persist across all platforms without requiring repeated setup.
This enhancement would significantly improve user experience by providing consistency and reducing the need for frequent reconfiguration across different devices and platforms.
