BW UI of browser extension – is clear CSS.
Make the notes field stretchable – it’s exactly 1 line code.
While BW was making adjustments for wide/narrow, he spent 100 times more time.

@Nail1684 You jumped the gun too quickly.
I didn’t create this topic or this question.
The image in the first post isn’t mine, but @grb
Return these posts to the previous thread.
In the forum mechanism, only the thread’s author can recognize another post as a solution. I’m still capable of making my own decisions. Don’t attribute actions I didn’t take to me.
I don’t consider it a solution because
.note { resize: vertical; }
has long been in BW.
And the original question was about a new proposal for BW.
The author of the question asked it. And at the moment, there’s no solution in the BW UI.
When you revert everything back, I’ll show you exactly what the new solution should be in BW.
I made a mistake in the first post: not “MAKE“ , but “TO MAKE“ !
Your post was about “make the notes field stretchable”, but the other topic is not about the notes field, so returning back is not the right option.
BTW:
(emphasis my edit)
In all seriousness, if you want to, you can propose that change and contribute to the Bitwarden codebase: How to contribute to the Bitwarden codebase · bitwarden · Discussion #4723 · GitHub
I made a mistake in the first post: not “MAKE“ , but “TO MAKE“ !
It wasn’t a request.
To make changes to the codebase, need to know how to inspect the BW UI. I only have a very basic understanding. Although I accidentally figured out one BW class a long time ago, it gave me the opportunity to write animation styles.
There’s a solution that’s missing, but it’s already 66% present in the UI, but not 100%.
Why am I asking you to return all the pictures back, because in that topic a year ago I already posted a video where a request for this function was shown. Ready-made, in another program.
A video where you can see without unnecessary questions how it should be. As done by others.
That’s exactly what users are asking for.
And this ready-made solution is here for 2/3: in Notes and an external detached window. But it is missing from the main extension window. It is not correct to require the user to have an UNPIN so that he sees a window size that is convenient for himself.
For developers, with a ready–made solution, this is 2 minutes of work.
But I have to go all the way from interface inspection to GitHub.
I have unmarked the solution, until we figure out what you are requesting or need help with.
Even if we read your original comment as “To make the notes field stretchable – it’s exactly 1 line code”, the following still holds:
So if you are not making a request, could you please clarify what the goal of your post was?
And the author is you? If so, please post a new feature request topic instead of adding your proposal to an existing feature request topic.
Your posts are confusing to me, so apologies if I have misunderstood.

You can create a separate thread for this and put it in first post.
And accept any answer in this thread as a solution.
I couldn’t ask this question because I already know all of this.
My request isn’t about notes, but about the entire window. Exactly what’s stated in the topic title. – Customizable Window Size for Browser Extension - #38 by grb
And if it were inside the main window, I could still use my knowledge (I’ve already done that).
But the outer window is subject to Chromium’s limitations.
It’s beyond my capabilities.
OK, I see that you have added a new comment to the other thread, which is fine. Can we now close this thread as “solved” (marking your most recent comment as the solution)?
This topic exists on the BW forum and should serve the forum’s purpose—to inform users.
The author of the question isn’t important. The topic title and the response to the title are important.
The best answers have images. This is yours, @grb ))
But I’m not particularly interested in this topic. I’m concerned about users who are worried about the entire height of BW.
