hello i keep pressing “update password” on wrong password login form, can you add a history option to password changes so older passwords are preserved too?

If you click on an item in your vault and scroll to the bottom you can click on “Password History” (if you have ever changed passwords for that item) and it will show you the list of previous passwords. Or are you asking for something else?

As @wags1 wrote, there already is a password history for the five last passwords for each login item: Password & Generator History | Bitwarden
Therefore I’m going to close this request as implemented. (with some delay for further clarification, if necessary)
Furthermore, I think you might also be interested in this feature request, which – if implemented – hopefully would allow to sort for last changes etc.:
