I’ve launched an application on HarmonyOS but I’m unable to log in due to the error message “Incorrect username or password. Please try again.” Data is correct of course. I’ve tried changing the region and clearing the app data. It works fine on other Android devices. Any ideas?

Yes, I did it without any problems
Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
I have done it many times unsuccessfully.
Problem solved. I wrote the password in a notebook first, then copied it into the app. It works!
Thanks for the update. It sounds like the HarmonyOS may be modifying your keyboard inputs in some cases (e.g., “smart quotes” that automatically convert ""
to “”
). For convenience, it may be best to generate a new master password, which does not include any special characters other than a simple hyphen, perhaps. The best practice is to make your master password a randomly generated 4-word passphrase.
