It’s tedious to have to expand the Notes box manually with 6 separate steps. There should be a button (or other simple method) to expand Notes to be the full size of the right pane, in a single click.
The forum suggests similar threads, and I see 2 people previously posting threads, throughout the years, requesting a ‘larger notes field’, the first one having not seen the pull-down corner-tab on the bottom-right to expand the box, then someone simply requesting a bigger Notes field area than 6 lines, with no replies to that second request.
Walk-though of the issue: I open Bitwarden and search for an entry that has some lengthy text information I need to refer-to and also update. E.G. network configuration information, pointing to which device has which mac and which IP and the assigned name. I am presented with a ‘Additional Options’ - Notes - box that only displays 5 lines of text. I can scroll down within the box, or I can, after finding the entry, and making Bitwarden full-screen:
- Tap ‘Edit’
- Grab the handle on the bottom-right of ‘Additional Options’ (Notes) and pull it down until it is at the bottom of the right pane. I now have a whole 12 lines of visible text.
- I move my mouse cursor to the right-most scroll bar on the right pane, which is now allowing me to scroll down to increase the amount of room to display Notes (it was not before step 1).
- I scroll down all the way
- I now have a WHOLE 20 lines of text i can see in the Notes field.
- Finally, I repeat step 1 and grab the bottom-right corner of the Notes field and pull it down again, to the bottom of the screen.
- Only by now, are there are 28 lines of text available to edit, and only now has the Notes field taken up the entire right-pane.
6 steps to make the Notes field useful/editable, when there could be a single Expand button, just above the ‘Copy’ button, to expand the Notes field to the entire size of the right pane, whether in Edit or View mode.
