I’m a new user. Have set up a family account, imported all my data from SplashID and got everything working. I then went back and then changed the folder names and updated the records in my account. All looking great!
I then went to my wifes account and the the folder names have not sync’ed through.
Tried manual sync’ing but that has not worked either. Tried loging in and out and that has not moved the changes to my wifes account.
The sync has update the recordeds on my account across muliple devices but not on my wifes account. Can you please explain what is happening.
So the exercise you may want to try before doing everything all at once is to create a collection under the org (family) to be shared, move an item into it, and see if they sync between your account and your wife account. It should.
The “personal” items that you create/import in your vault and in your wife vaults will sync separately.
Hi and thanks for responding, I am using Organisations and Collections and that is working fine. My issue is with the Folders field on each specific entry as it does not update a specific entry across the Collections when I do a sync.
I have now read here Folders | Bitwarden Help Center that this is a feature and not a fault (grrr) I guess I need to create more collections and not use the Folders for arranging entries into categories across the collections as I thought was logicial.
