Hello Bitwarden Team,
I manage multiple accounts for the same websites (for example, several Gmail accounts).
Currently, Bitwarden shows all saved logins for a site regardless of which browser I am using. This can sometimes lead to accidental login with the wrong account and causes identity mixing between personal and finance/work usage.
It would be very helpful to have an optional feature that allows users to filter or limit which login entries are suggested based on context, such as:
- Browser (Firefox, Edge, etc.)
- Browser profile or container
- Or a user-defined category like Personal, Finance, or Work
Example use case:
- Gmail – Personal → only suggested in Firefox
- Gmail – Finance → only suggested in Edge
This feature would help:
- Prevent accidental account mixing
- Improve privacy and compartmentalization
- Reduce human error for users managing multiple identities
The default behavior could remain unchanged for users who do not need this feature.
